We're Home
I apologize for how long it's been since I updated. Blogger was not available in China and it has been a whirlwind since we have returned. Abby is doing amazing in just the short time we have had her. I will try to post but lets Just say I have ALOT less free time on my hands. Here is a pic from the day we came home and she saw her room:)

Now the real journey begins
Well,This is it,tomorrow we start the very long journey to the other side of the world to bring Abby home.On Monday at 2pm(that's 3am central time) Mr.Li is picking us up at our hotel and taking us to meet Abby. This day that I dreamed of,that I longed for and cried a thousand tears for, is really here. I have a million emotions running through me. All the years we waited, all the "why Gods" all come down to this day..this child..this is God's plan. I can't wait to see her sweet face right in front mine.. I hope to blog there but if it is not available and I have you as an email contact,I will be sending out a mass email with a photo attached. so bye for now..catch ya on the other side of the world!!

What lies ahead
June 1st is Children's day in China. I am hoping that means some fun is in store for Lianqing. I am really going to concentrate on praying for her this week. Her world is about to be turned upside down and though we all know what good lies ahead for her,she does not. She will only know that she has been taken from the only "home" she has ever known, away from her nannies, friends and routine and handed over to two strange looking people that don't speak her language, who supposedly are her new mama and daddy. I know she will be very scared especially that first day and night. My prayer is that God will send her peace and understanding, that her little confused, broken heart will be able to feel the love and compassion we have for her. Please pray in the days and weeks ahead that God will help Chuck and I to have patience and love that surpasses any situation we may be put in. I already know I could never do what lies ahead on my own..this is a God thing. He will be my strength. So please pray for all of us as we begin this incredible journey..especially little Lianqing.
